Last week my Mom was taken to the ER. She underwent surgery and had her appendix removed. Everything went well and she is recovering smoothly. Praise God!

If you think of it, I would appreciate your prayers for me as I prepare
for a legislative hearing/meeting I will be attending tomorrow morning
at 9:00 AM. It involves a financial claim by a nursing home that a
former employee of ours did not catch some code violations in the
construction of their roof. Our lawyer and I will be on the "hot seat"
answering questions from legislators about why this happened. Although
the matter can be explained, a certain very vocal and abrasive
legislator from the iron range is apparently using this opportunity to
make political points. Although I'm not interested in "winning" any
arguments, I only want to leave a good impression about our agency.

Prayer Request from Micah M.

ok - so I'm planning on going to the Katrina trip next month, but my
boss has yet to approve of me taking off a week of work during our
busy season. To make matters more complicating, I'm supposed to start
supervising third shift on the week we leave for the trip. So I
emailed my boss today to explain things, hoping he'll be 'nice' about
it and let me go (I'm actually hoping he'll be supportive of it as
well). So if you guys could pray that my boss will let me go on this
trip with no hesitancy that would be great! Also, pray that my dad can
come on the trip as well! He's been seriously considering it, and if I
go, I think he'll for sure go!

Please keep Nikki Bjornrud's 14 year old sister Bethany in your
prayers. She was diagnosed yesterday with leukemia. Linn and Nikki
went to be with her in Fargo, where she is in the hospital undergoing
chemotherapy. Please keep Bethany and her family in your prayers.

I almost lost my left middle finger at work today (I'm at work writing this with one hand)! Just pray that it heals, doesn't get infected, and, if I need stitches, that it all goes smoothly (I've
never had stitches before)!!

So, my suite mate Ashley has mono as well as other complications now on top of that. They think
her spleen might be ruptured which is not good at all and she has to be admitted to the hospital for a few days. She's really scared and nervous and her situation needs prayer for healing and peace.

I was sitting here at work ;) and needed to e-mail you guys. Can you add Jose Heurta back to the wall. Jose was the guy we prayed for last year for the liver transplant. He went into the coma and then came out and got a liver. Well the good thing is out of that miracle is he became a believer and had another year on this earth, but Jose passed away from complications on Sunday morning at 2.15. Can you add prayer for the family mostly his wife Angela she is mad at God because this is the second husband he has taken from her and Jose was only 50.
